What are the circumstances? Without knowing anything about your case, it's difficult to give you any meaningful advice. The sole purpose of your interview with the Consul is to help verify all the documentation you and your fiance provided as evidence of a bonafide relationship. If you said anything during your interview that didn't support that documentation or contradicted it, then you might have triggered off these precautionary measures. If you don't know already what caused the alarm, I'd recommend you call the Embassy to find out. There may be nothing you can do at this point other than review the original documentation your fiance submitted which was initially approved and make sure that all of it is correct and factual.

thanks for the comment but its hard to tell and its a long olong story but they told me that if the head of the fraud prevention unit sign up the closed statements reports it means that the whole thing was verified and will forward to the cosul....the question is if the consul will still be confused ?or denied my visa....after all the things verified

Just to add to the great answer above, not only it has to be a BONAFIDE relationship.....but also need to be "ELIGIBLE" for the type of VISA requested.

If it is a K1....meaning FIANCE visa....surely Either side CANNOT be currently married ..if married before, previously marriages need to proven that have been annulled or divorced.

Same is true for K3 and IR1.....too

and the best for last.....also your partner....need to be able to support you too....AFFIDAVIT of SUPPORT...

If they (embassy) have any doubt regarding the documents supplied....surely they will go through extra examination...thus delaying the case.

Review all the documentation you submitted. Hopefully, you do have full copy of everything. Look over it thoroughly before the Consul brings you in for another possible interview.

if you think that those reasons you have wont cause denial then just wait they will approve your visa...just keep on making follow up by calling the embassy...tell your petitioner too to call the embassy and ask for the status of your case.

i was sent to fpu too but after less than a month they approved our visa...it took less than a month because of the christmas holidays thats why... me and my hubby just kept on calling the embassy. thats it.

God bless you.

This is a waiting game. It is up to the USEM to make the decision.

If you are assured that your relationship is real and legal, just continue praying for positive result.
