Forms and Checklist sent to foreign Beneficiary (Fiance/e).

*This will be sent out within a week (typically less) from when the embassy processes the received petition. This package will include a checklist of items and paperwork that must be collected. Some will be sent back asap, and others will be sent back later or brought to the interview.

Does anyone know which forms must be sent to them before medical and interview? I would like to get those prepared right away. I looked at the post with the different forms that are needed at the embassy level but it dosen't specify when there needed.

Also my Fiance has mail issues, so I will have to try to reach the embassy and have them change address to her work addy where she will definetly receive them.

Anyone know what mail service the embassy uses to send mail to benificiary?

For the Philippines you don't send anything before the interview. Just bring everything there with you that day. Good Luck :)

Ok so what am I waiting on then? NVC sent out our package on the 14th and I recieved a confirmation letter from them stating it should take about a week for Embassy to receive it. How do I know which step to take next? Do we call the embassy and ask for an interview date, and if so do I just send her off to do the medical?

Here's some links to familiarize yourself with. It would take hours to answer your questions about this phase in explicit detail.

You can search the Philippine Forum with terms like NOA2, Interview, USEM, CFO, medical, St Luke's, and find tons of information.

Happy reading and good luck!

Ok thanks, I knew it was a tough one to answer. It's just Im pretty sure we can get this going right away, and I wouldn't want it to be held up because of something I did. On a side note once the emassy gets our package we can schedule our interview and medical ASAP, or is there a long line of others trying to schedule and that takes months? Would love to go there in December to pick up Nelia so we can spend holidays together!

These two links from the Manila Embassy may be a little easier to follow:

You can get the pin and start calling for an interview appointment next Monday. They will let you choose an available date as soon as your petition is in their computer system.

To make your fiancée's interview appointment, call 888-877-9888 and use your Visa or Mastercard to buy the $18 PIN. The PIN number will allow you to make at least three calls to the Embassy's call center where you can schedule an interview.

In the meantime, if you have not already done so, send your fiancée the documents she will need for the interview, and make sure she has the documents she will need to collect on her end as well.
