U.S. residents fight for the right to hang laundry

In the midst of the global environmental.....this is how we do in my country...we are free to hang laundry outdoors and indoors.

We do this in the summer but no one complains because it's in our backyard... It's nobody's business what goes on in your backyard. I don't see why people would hang their laundry in their front yard, unless they don't have a backyard.

Please, we live in an upper-middle class neighborhood and our house is older than most of those around us and was not built with central air. So in the summer we put 2 AC units in the two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. One of our neighbors called us white trash because of this. Too bad they foreclosed a couple of months ago... jerks

IMHO opinion there should be a public execution of a random "president" of a homeowners association every week. Preferably awakened in the middle of the night, dragged from their home and brutally slaughtered in public. I suggest drawn and quartered by lawn tractors. Should cut down on intrusive blue nose MFers that cannot mind their own business.

People are crazy...

i read this article this morning, and i'm so glad the lady is taking action. i love hanging the laundry outside... it ends up smelling so fresh, and the sun actually gets out tough stains better than detergent sometimes.... love it, love it...

unfortunately, we are in an apt right now, so no clotheslines, but someday...
