Since my journey started back in 2005, anytime that I had my finger prints done my case was always touched either same day or next day at the latest. How long does it take for them to touch your case? And on average how long does it take them to forward it for an interview?

Thanks

Hi Lissa04,

In my situation had my biometrics done on 09/30/09....and my last update before that was 2009-09-23 and 2009-09-24

There were not updates after that for my N-400 case...

Until I got my interview letter...and the update was on 2009-10-13, the same date the interview letter was dated

There were no updates after that for my N-400 case...

I had my interview yesterday on 2009-11-18...

So in your situation, no need to worry...Especially more so that you got your biometrics done (which was more likely than not the RFE)...

So wait for the next update soon either online and/or by mail...which will probably be for your interview letter..

If you don't have any new news, no new letter, and no more updates after awhile in the next few weeks, then yes, contact the USCIS for more info about your case, through the mis-information line and/or infopass appointment...

Hope this helps. Good luck on the rest of your journey too.

Ant

Well I called the FBI and they informed me that my prints were sent to them on the same day 11/17 and were sent back to USCIS also on the same day. I think their number is 304-625-5590, you can also search in this forum if it is not correct. I would think by now my case would be touched to say hey we got your prints. Good luck.
