Hello All,.

Finally it's my turn to describe the big day experience. My interview was at 7.30 AM we started around 4.00 AM and reached there 15 mins early. My baby was crying and we were pacifying her until we were called in. We were called in around 8 .15 and that I.O was a lady she asked us to sworn in. She was'nt friendly enough and no greetings and no smile at all.

She asked my birth certificate and affidavits for not available birth certification. I showed the originalos.

Our marriage certificate and I provided the one Court gave us but then she was asking not this one I wanted a marriage licence from court. I never heard any IO officer asking the marriage licence and not the certificate but thank god I had them on the file.

Previous day when I was arranging the folders I found this piece of paper and thought that was not needed but then for some reason I kept it in the extra copy folder which was really useful. I gave her I-693 medical vaccination record though I have submitted with the application but that time I was 30wks pregnant. So no vaccination was provided to me.

I took them last week after 8 weeks of postpartum. She asked my DOB and Phone number and asked to verify the signature. She asked my husband's passport she didn't want to see any of our joint bank a/c or insurnace or mortgage documents none of them she wanted to see.

She asked my husband why did you guys divorced and remarried ? My husband replied we had misunderstanding then we realised and got back together. Its all worked on and we have been always living together. (We got married Nov 17 2004 almost 5 years back but got divroced some time in 2007 and were seperated for 14 months)

The only document we didn't have was my husband's former wife death certificate. She was killed in an car accident. I.O wanted to see them and she said assuming that you are going to send that death degree and I am going to approve you will get a conditional green card since you guys been remarried for less than 2 years.

She was explaining the stuff how to remove the condition and she gave us a piece of paper that explains us to submit the death certificate with translation within 30 days . We reached home and them my husband went back to work and found the death certificate online. Thank god now all the birth and death records can be found in online in India. He was exteremly happy and had them print out and made a cover letter which explains to her everything.

We are going to send them tomorrow with the confirmation mail. This where we are now and hoping the best. Thank you for all of your support and help.

10/04/2009 --- EAD Card Production Ordered

10/12/2009 --- I-131 Advance Parole approved notice and EAD Received

10/19/2009 --- Interview Letter Received for November 19th 2009 at 7.30 AM

11/18/2009 --- Interview Done

11/18/2009 --- I - 485 Touched and I-130 Touched.

12/04/2009 --- Card Production Ordered.

12/17/2009 --- Green Card Arrived and Welcome letter received.

09/16/2011 --- 1-751 Applied for removing conditions

09/27/2011 --- NOA and biometrics received

10/12/2011 --- Biometrics taken

01/27/2012 --- I-551 Stamped for One year

06/22/2012 --- 10yr GC production ordered.

06/28/2012 --- Green Card Received.
