Yeah my Canadians just got their Christmas cards yesterday! It took 2 and a half weeks. Pretty craptastic if you ask me!

USPS seems to have really good instate service here. I mailed a card to someone in a neighboring locality and they got it the next day! But then again, I just got a Christmas card from Bill's Californian family yesterday. Although, they are on California time, so they may have just mailed it really late :P

So Mal, Avery and Sapphire are still waiting.

One is from Avery, one is from Rhiann, one is a mystery.

I was just kinda looking over the list, did anyone hear anything from KarenElizabeth? I ask because I don't remember seeing them post in this thread like at all...

Karen did receive her gift.

The ones that are still outstanding are from Avery, Rhiann and July09Bride. I heard from July09, she asked me to pass on a message to her SS receipient that her gift would be late as she had a situation at her place this year with her doggie.

Rhiann is mailing her gift this week. Avery's is already enroute and has been for some time. :)

We JUST got the notice from NVC that our petition had been forwarded to the Vancouver consulate. It was dated December 4! TERRIBLE.

So glad you told me that they were place card holders.... I just took one out of the box and I see that they are indeed place card holders (flat on the bottom, so they'll sit on the table)!!!! Cute idea... I LOVE THEM!!!!

Thanks again!!!

Rayma

Glad that you liked them! Happy New Year to you and yours!

Here ya go! Of course when I looked them up from the place I bought them they are now like 60% off.

Hey, there's my ornaments...arent' they cute! I haven't been on this thread for a while, I have some reading to catch up on. So glad you liked the ornaments Arabella. I make the gingerbread men every year and every year I seem to give them all away! This year I managed to keep some for myself. Take care.

Hey Lgg, how's that Slap Chop working for you?

I'm interested in getting one, but I'm unsure if they're worth it.

It is worth getting?

Rhiannercakes (#######??)

;)

I HAVE used it -- I used it to chop pecans for my pecan pies this year. It works okay but yeah, it came with no directions really so... you're kind of on your own. While I find it useful, I found cleaning it a bit of a pain in the #######.

I do, however, really like the GRaty that it came with -- that's a very, very useful tool.

For the price and such and especially if you catch the two for one deal... you should consider it!

:D

Hmm. I just found this discussion online. Looks like the general concensus is that it's #######. lol. Though there are a few posters who like it.

"I should have been slapped hard for buying Slap Chop."

Yea I tried mine out and it didn't really work too well but who cares... I love his nuts.
