Just got e-mail notice from USPS that the gift I sent should have been delivered today or is available at the Post Office.

That'd be me!!! :D I don't have any pics because I had it sent to my fiancé's parents house, as I wasn't sure what the moving/address situation was going to be and didn't want it to arrive after I was gone... but he opened it for me on the webcam... hahaha The fighting reindeer were HILARIOUS.. I was like omg! Do they light up!?!??! hahaha

I'll try to get a pic of them from him.

And I'm excited to browse through the California travel book!

Thank you!!! :D

p.s. even though you didn't sign your name (how very secretive), I found out it was you by the address, and looking at the VJ Canaliens map! bwah hahaha

Hi all! Sorry to be mia for the last little while, kids are doing finals and its been CRAZY around here. I think I know who my secret santa is... Varba, maybe?? lol

no worries on the allergy front  . I just have to figure out a way to keep the kids from eating my wonderful stash of chocolates...sooo much to choose from. I was spoiled!!!

Never seen these ones, but can't wait to find out how great they taste!! My trainer may shoot me, but what the heck!

I also have to find a camera to take pictures, so bear with me and I promise to get them posted soon! I am somewhat technically challenged!

Thanks again, this was great fun!!

You figured me out!

=)

Sorry I forgot to put the note in the box, hopefully you got the one from Santa that trailmix forwarded for me!

I love the little chocolate factory, they make wonderful treats - plus they make the downtown square smell tasty year round.

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

LOL!! No worries! The address gave you away! As I suspect it does us all..

That was a very nice note, now I need to go to that town and visit, one of my favorite books growing up was Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, fires up the imagination, I tell you!

My kids keep asking, can we have some? and I keep saying NO!

Trying to be a good mom, It has nothing to do with the fact that I love chocolate! Nooo, not at all....

Merry Christmas!!

Well she would have gotten it if I hadn't completely forgotten to send it.

I did just now though, if that counts

And yes, it DOES count! :star:

Sending you some Colorado Love, my dear. I hope you liked it. Just a little somethin somethin.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard
