I forgot, is there a budget limit?

Like we have to get something that is below $25? $15?

Can I please ask everyone to post whether they like tea or coffee? Any specialty teas or coffees? Thank you. :)

I like only Tetley Tea and I just got a huge box when I was in Canada. I may have one cup a day, so I'm not really a tea drinker. Coffee....bold. 100% Arabica beans, can be ground though. I hate flavoured teas and coffees.

For the people that said that they liked books but did not specify...WHAT KIND OF BOOKS DO YOU LIKE? I'm dying here! xD

I love books that are NOT trade paperbacks. I like oversized books, non mainstream. I am a voracious reader, reading approximately 300 books a year. It's hard to buy books for me because I read so many.

Last year, around this time, we decided we would do a secret santa gift exchange for VJ members in the Canada forum. For those of you who weren't members yet, this is how it went:

- If you are interested in taking part, you just post in this thread to say you are interested.

- Once we have everyone - I will ask you to send me your address (only two people will get this information - me and your secret santa).

- Once we have all the names and addresses, I randomly match people up and email them the information on their receipient.

- About 2 weeks before Christmas you mail your gift to your receipient.

Anyone interested this year?

Yeah...I'm still kinda concerned about mine. The fact that I didn't get an email confirmation, and the fact that I haven't seen my credit card debited makes me think that the transaction somehow wasn't completed. I think I may give it a couple more days before I just go ahead and buy something else for my recipient...and if the original gift DOES ship then? Well, it'll just be an extra helping of holiday cheer. :P

I found some neat stuff for my secret santa last night.

Though, I hope no one on the list is allergic to say... chocolate.

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

Okay, I just ordered a different gift for my secret santa recipient. It's not as entertaining as the initial one I had ordered, but eight days without an email or a debit on my credit card tells me that the transaction was somehow never finalized.

I like gifts that are useful rather than gratuitous though, and this gift will certainly be useful and matches at least two of the criteria posted by the recipient earlier in this thread. :)

Can't wait to see what you got them, Wyatt. You'll have to confess what the original item was when it's all over, though. Curiousity is getting the better of me. :lol:
