how long till interview for K1???

hi,

we have sent back out check list and forms to request our interview for the K1. the US embassy in London has received the packet as we tracked the item. how long should we expect to wait till we get a letter with the interview date? and then how long till the actual interview? how likely would it be that we get our interview and visa before mid January?

I imagine it depends on your travel/wedding arrangements, and is decided on a case-by-case basis, but in my case they received my IV-15 and other forms on the 27th October, and I received my interview letter today (18/11), with an interview scheduled for December 1st (less than two weeks away!).

K-1 Visa

Service Center : Vermont Service Center

Consulate : London, United Kingdom

I-129F Sent : 2009-03-28

I-129F NOA1 : 2009-03-31

I-129F NOA2 : 2009-08-28

IV-15 Received by Consulate : 2009-10-27

Interview : 2009-12-01 - APPROVED!

POE : 2010-03-18

Marriage : 2010-03-29

AOS, EAD, AP sent : 2010-05-27

AP received : 2010-07-29

EAD received : 2010-08-05

Green Card received : 2010-09-14
