mom's case completed and we receive appointment letter. interview date is December 14, 2009. anyone here from the Philippines? i wonder why there is no date specified for her medical at ST lukes? and also please give me address of ST lukes in manila. thanks

Your mom is to schedule her own medical exam at St. Lukes. In the interview appointment letter, the US Embassy tells the beneficiary where to go get the medical, they don't schedule the appointment for that. Do it before the interview at the embassy. Bring the US embassy appointment letter along.

Congratulations ikyang on your Mom's case completion and Good Luck for the interview.

They wont tell you when you need to get Medicals but it has to be before you go for Interview. You/your Mom need to take the Interview letter to the US approved Panel Doctors at Manila and schedule an appointment and get it done.

Congratulations Ikyang!! Buti ka pa.. Your mom can bring a copy of that interview notice and set her medical @ St.Lukes. She can take the LRT and stop at UN Avenue (NBI can be her main point).Then 2 or 3 blocks from there (past PhilAm bldg.) is J. Bocobo St. That's where the St.Luke's Extension Clinic is. The address is : 1177 J. Bocobo St. Ermita Manila 1000. Their number is : 521-86-47 & 521-0020. They are open M-F 7:30-11:30am & 1-4:30pm. Bring her passport and 1 (2x2) photo. Currently the fee is $213.35 for adults and must be paid in Philippine peso at current exchange rate. USEmbassy is straight tru (by jeep) UN Avenue by Roxas blvd. hope that helps!

hi mooninlove, chance din ng parents mo soon...do you have any list of hotels close to the manila embassy? or can you recommend me a good and affordable one? we are from Cebu so my mom has to stay couple of nights in a hotel in manila . salamat

Congrats Ikyang!

My parents too will have their interview in USEM on december.

Just waiting for the result of their sputum test for almost 2 months

now.Hopefully negative result on sputum test.

If I were you,tell your mother to take the medical exam in St.Lukes

to save time if ever health problem occur unexpectedly.I sent my parents

1 month early prior to their schedule interview last october,unfurtunately

they need to undergo sputum test and its a two months waiting result.

Good Luck to your mother.
