traveling outside the country

my husband is a us citizen and im a permanent resident were planning 2 have a vocation in philippines, but were not going on the same day. im one week a head be4 him but were going back home 2 us the same day do we some sort of visa...thanks a lot...

If you are a Philippines citizen you won't need a visa to get back into your own country. You'll be traveling on your Philippines passport. Since you're already a permanent resident, all you need to come back in is your passport and green card - unless you stay away for MANY months, then you'll need a reentry permit. But for a short vacation, nothing special required.

I did a google search and came up with a Yahoo! answers page. (it was too hard on here - all the questions were for coming here to visit...)

Sounds like he can get a 21 day visa at the airport with no prior application, or for longer, apply for one through the consulate here before he leaves, or even extend the 3 week visa once there.

If it's more than 21 days, your husband will need to apply for extension before the 21 days expires.

You don't need a visa. All you need is your Philippine Passport and your Green Card (so you can go back to the US).
