Ok Ive been on the forum for a little while but still wanted to say hi and fully introduce myself. :)

So here I go! (for those of you who do get bored, it is ok, there are refreshments and cards on the table :star: )

I met my fiance in May of 2000 when I was in Romania visiting with some friends with people I know here in Florida. I was introduced to him, and we began talking right away. Hes a climber so therefore we couldnt talk too much at the time since he was in a competition at the time. But we had a wonderful time together after.(get minds out of gutter that came 3 years later  ). We since then until 2003 kept in touch DAILY thru email, chat, phone, and sms. Then one day I called the bank, made sure I had enough money to cover plane tickets, and purchased them in time to be there for New Years 04. I called Ed and told him the news and he was ESTATIC!(thank goodness since i spent the money on the ticket already)

I spent a month there and decided to get a job, then come back to Florida and get my then 8 year old daughter (shes 10 now) and take her over there. I did this and well right away, as soon as they met they became inseperable. Anyway, making a LONG story short, we moved into our very own apartment, and everything was WONDERFUL! Work was great, home life, everything. Ed home schooled my daughter Shonna since the schools there were too expensive, and I worked since I got paid american salary which was 10x larger than he would have made on a romanian salary.

Then we found out we were pregnant! Most joyous time of our lives!! We then decided to get married and we were going to plan on coming back here together and having the baby. Things turned for the worst and I lost the baby at 5 months. I went in a bad depression, and not being Eds fault I kinda wanted to come back to Florida to be with my mom for a little while. I did so, in September of 2004 I brought my daughter home and i spent 3 months here to kind of collect myself and get over what happened.

THOUGH a week after I arrived home in Florida i found out yet again only 4 months after our tragedy i was once again pregnant! I hurried back to Romania and we talked and got married. Everything was GREAT! I came back to Florida to file all of the papers and go through my pregancy here and give birth here since our medical system is so much better. (just being in the hospital after losing our 1st baby, and being in a room with 13 beds and 16 girls, yes they had 2 girls to each twin size bed and we paid $100 extra just to make sure i had my own bed) Anyway, as soon as I went to the court house to have my name changed to Ionescu I was told that the divorse lawyer I had had with my last marriage YEARS ago was never lisenced to work, I was not legally divorsed here. Though I had divorse papers and everything, to find out it was all NOT legalized was about the biggest blow to my heart after losing a baby AND being pregnant again! So I had to refile for my divorse of my last husband. This really put a big dent into our plans. Especially when the court date for it was 7 months away from when I filed. So here we were, in love, about to have a baby, and cant file for any visa until I had this nasty situation fixed. Finally after a LONG hard wait and way too much money for a divorse lawyer, i had my divorse LEGALLY! By this time I had already had our baby boy Joshua and in court my fiance had to call from Romania to claim rights to him or they were going to name my exhusband as legal father. Technically the real father has to appear in court, but due to the situation and having a great judge he let him call and swore him in over the phone instead.

We are now on day 98 of waiting for our NOA2. The wait is killing us! We want so bad for him to be here for his sons first birthday in May. My daughter is axiously waiting for him, as she has already told everyone HE is her daddy.

Anyway thats our story. Not really exciting, but I thought Id share it.

You can wake up now, im done

Hugs,

Tara
