My wife and I are now married (she was the fiance' from Brazil) she has my last name hyphenated with her maiden name e.g. "Jane Doe-Smith" She now has her green card, my question is, when traveling outside the country her passport has her maiden name and her green card has her married name. Will US immigration cause a problems since her passport (she has two Italian/Brazilian) and green card have different names? Or is this not an issue? Does she need to get new passports? Hope not,, we are planning a brief trip to Brazil and would appreciate any input, Thanks!!!

Bring your marriage certificate when you travel, always when you travel. Always book the ticket in the name that is in her passport.

Probably not, but bring the marriage certificate. Next time she is in her home country she can change her name in her passport, or maybe at her country's consulate here
