hey gang,

i went down to get my police certificate today in edmonton, and they gave it to me with no problems. the guy assured me the certificate would meet all requirements for the fiancee visa interview, and according to my instructional paper the consulate sent over, it looks like this police cert is the exact report i need. the onLy problem is they never fingerprinted me. do i need fingerprints? i've never been convicted of anything, no criminal background, and i think they only want fingerprints if you have been convicted. but could someone just verify that for me because i don't want to walk into my interview with the wrong thing and be SOL. thank you!

No record, no fingerprinting. Sounds like you got exactly what you needed. You're good to go!
