Hi everyone!

I'm new here, I was wondering if anybody knows how accurate those timelines are that they post from the service centers and the averages from the embassies?

Hi.. welcome to VJ...

The updates from USCIS in a general sense are accurate, however the processing times from the AILA sites seem to be more accurate. The USCIS posted times are only updated every 2-3 weeks... Sometimes petitions are approved that are after the posted date, while others some time before hand are still not processed... but it's good that it will give you a general idea of approval time.

You can look at people's personal timelines from Morocco... that might help. Our interview was exactly 4 months from when I submitted the I-129F and the Visa was issued one week later.

Thanks so much Sarah, I really appreciate this, its nice to talk to people that have been through it and read all the different posts, better than making yourself crazy....well, I'm still making myself crazy but this helps

Sarah & Hicham congrats on your visa...hope we're so blessed and it goes fast. From the timelines they show from CIS it seems that it will sit in California for at least 4 to 5 months....oh well at least the process is started. Thanks for caring!
