The rest of the world looks on and wonders. I've heard a few programs now where political commentators in the UK are simply flabbergasted that such idiocy is taken seriously. It's got nothing to do with political affiliation either, everyone thinks it's peculiar.

the asians (chinese in particular) have been ridiculing us for months in their public forums for having a "he lo" (black foreigner) president. to them it is unthinkable. they also laugh at his lack of diplomatic skill and his lack of understanding of appropriate social interaction for the level of national leader. they do not take him seriously.

Like it? Apart from whether I would take your word for what the Chinese en masse think of Obama, whether I like it or not has nothing to do with it. The fact is that from a world perspective making a judgment on presidential skills based on whether or not they observe social niceties is absurd.
