Address and Work for Embassy Interview

Hi

I have received packet 3 and am now trying to fill out the ds 230. My question is about my work situation. My case is with the embassy in my home European country(my country of birth) I have been in another european country working and living (for just under 3 months) at the moment due to economic reasons. The form asks your present occupation and also your present address. I do not want to shift the case to a different embassy. I am quite happy to leave the case at my family home address in my home country. Will putting my present address in another country affect the application??!

No. But if you have been in another country for 6 months or more, you need a police certificate from that country.

Ok so i processed the case with the embassy in my country of citizenship. i spoke with the embassy and they have informed me that my case will have to be transferred to the embassy of the country I am now working in. I have already done and paid for medical and all the paperwork for my home country embassy. Embassy said I will have to complete my medical in the country i am now working in. Any ideas??

So frustrating...
