no word from the US embassy

hi,

i have a pretty simple question, i've just become confused because of apparently conflicting information online. my fiance and i filed our i129f and got NOA1 and NOA2 pretty quickly. the latter was received on september 30th. now i haven't heard anything from the embassy here in london... am i supposed to be just sitting tight, or am i supposed to be contacting them for more information/an interview date?

Is it safe to assume you have already been in contact with NVC (where the approved petition would have been sent for processing, assigned a new case number, THEN sent to the Embassy)? (You would need that NVC case number when contacting the Embassy)

we haven't contacted anyone as the letter we received indicated that we should wait for more information. i've just emailed the NVC now.
