Ngan was the last one out of the morning group. It was right around lunch time for the CO. The whole interview took around 10 minutes. It was a caucasian guy. Visa will be ready on 11/25.

We met on 3/1/2009. We are both single with no kids. The complete visa process is around 9 months. We both speak english and vietnamse. The only red flag going in...was the short period we have known each other. She saw the pink slip before the interview started. We submit a short time line of for 129F. She try to submit a detailed time line at the first window...at first he did not take it, but after some explanation, he took the timeline. The package was turned in with original and copy back-to-back. At the end the kept the original birht certificate from both of us. They said, it will be returned when she pick up her visa.

CO only flip thru the pictures. He did look at the timeline summary and ask her question from it. We submitted a summary timline...follow by a detailed timline with pictures captions.

1) propose date, 2) engagement date, 3) when we first met in person,

when she got to the interview window, the Vn lady (translator) ask the first qeustion in VN. Ngan answered in english..then the CO jump it and did the interview in english. The first questions were, when we first met?...and how we met?. After this the vn lady doesnt interrupt anymore.

We think there are 3 stages of this interview...the front desk person, which collect the data, the reviewer in the back which go thru the documents, then the CO which sign the slip. There is no way the CO have time to look over the documents. Ngan saw CO at the interview window the whole time. The theory about your case is decided before the interview is TRUE. CO ask the questions to confirm and signed the slip. We also think that we got lucky because it was close to lunch time...and CO was tired from all the previous questioning.

Here are the interview topics...each topics has a few questions:

1) my job description

2) her job

3) Our education and degree

4) my hobby...the car i drive

5) he ask for pictures of time spent together

the most important questions was why we got engagement in short period of time. I want to post our timeline but dont know how....could someone help?

Linh & Ngan

Congrats.

Lunch time had nothing to do with it. Your case was well prepared with good proof of a bona fide relationship.

Well done.
