Hi everyone! according to our lawyer she already sent our affidavit of support and DS-230 along with all our documents to NVC almost a month ago but I've been calling NVC every other day since last 2 weeks to know the current status of our case but different operators kept telling me the same thing that they haven't accepted yet our AOS and DS-230 etc, which was submitted already by our lawyer (THAT IS ACCORDING TO OUR LAWYER) We do not know if it's true or we are just waiting for nothing...sad. guys pls help..what should I do? thanks in advance!

Meet with your lawyer and find out if she actually sent it or not, that is crazy if it was sent a month ago for real.

Make an appointment with your lawyer, ask for copies of the packages sent to NVC. All the paperwork says to keep copies of everything sent.

I'm going through the same thing as you. NVC received the paperwork on 23rd October, but still haven't entered all the paperwork in their system yet.

If it's the same with you, it gives me a glimmer of hope that in fact, NVC are taking long and have yet to record the paperwork, but haven;t lost the packet

Please fill in your time-line

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.

Hi hindocha! are you also using a lawyer? no we're not in the same situation, your case is little bit better than our case. atleast all your papers has been received at NVC but they JUST HAVEN't entered to their system unlike our case according to NVC operators they dont even RECEIVED all our documents and affidavit of support which was ACCORDING to our lawyer she already sent all documents required together with our affidavit of support. pls keep me updated about your case..and good luck to us. tnx!
