Hi everyone! :)

I hope everyone is in the best of health!!

I met Kamel in November 2008. I had a friend who was already living in Tunisia with her husband. She approached me asking if I would be willing to talk to her husband's best friend. I was actually a bit reluctant at first as his english wasn't very good. But eventually I agreed.

We started talking with the aid of online translators. I surprised myself when I began having feelings for him. We would talk every day when we were not working. Even my mom began talking with him and fell in love with him! He has such a charisma about him :) I am happy to say that he is very intelligent and now speaks english fluently.

We talked about marriage and so forth being as our religion does not allow for dating. So if I came it would be for marriage. I thought and prayed long and hard on this and came out with the answer that he was the one for me :D

I hopped on a plane from Florida in April 2009 and headed to Tunisia! My husband to be and friend with her husband all greeted me at the airport. Two days later Kamel and I were married officially! (Talk about not wasting time! LOL) then as his tradition goes we had about a week's worth of wedding festivities.

I have been in Tunisia since April. I am now an official resident :D We are going through DCF to (hopefully) attain his visa. We have just one more hurdle which is the final interview which is scheduled for Nov. 23rd :)

We wish everyone good luck in their endeavors!! :luv:
