Hello all, I received my NOA2 form recently. And I'm about to complete the I-134 form. I am a US citizen currently living in Japan, but I'll be moving back next month. On the support records I can show that I worked full time in Japan for the past few months and have a US bank account and enough funds to provide, however my employer the past few months is Japanese, not American. Will that be a problem with the form as it asks for a US address?

Not a problem where you lived before. You are now in the US? You must list a permanent US address on the I-129f. It can be a relative if desired. Showing you worked in Japan is OK but worthless for providing support. Money in the bank must equal three times the annual income required...about $60,000 right now. If youhave that...no worries. Otherwise youwill need a CURRENT job which exceeds the guidelines or a co-sponsor.

Thank you for the reply!

No, still in Japan for another month. No employment stateside yet (although it shouldn't be a problem ONCE I'm there) but it seems to be that a co-sponsor is my best option and I have no problem finding that. Thank you. I'll inform my soon to be co-sponsor :)
