Are any of the panel doctors aware of this change???

Better yet, are any of the consulates aware of this change???

It would suck if you tell the panel doctor that you dont want to take HPV and he says he wont sign the medical check documents without it..

It would suck even worse if you forego the HPV and then interview time on december 16th an uninformed consular asks you where's your HPV vaccines??? What do you say then???

I'm so happy I dont' have to get that shot. My medical is scheduled for December 1st. I will reschedule till after the 14th if the changes haven't taken affect yet. This is such great news for all Women under 27 who are trying to move to the states. I can't believe it was ever a requirement for fiance / spousal immigration. Do they not realise that it's the one category that has the immigrants entering in (hopefully!) monogamous relationships with their citizens! Anyway, I'm glad they came to their senses. It's just bonkers that they had something mandatory for immigrants that isn't required for their own citizens!

Yaay. I'm just wondering if the Panel Physicians and USEM are notified of this change? What happens if you turn up at the interview and they ask for the shots?

Best to take a printout of some sort?

I called the medical place ...they say they will check a box saying i refused to take it...but they will let me have my paper anyway ...im wondering if the ambassy will let me wait 2 week before issuing me a visa if i tell them i just dont want to take it since its gonna be removed soon...

I like this...hearing about all you woman not wanting to get this shot...now in 20 to 30 years you can drain our health care even more when come down with cervix cancer!!!! Awesome!! Maybe they should just let people wih HIV and Aids in now...you know the US is starting to get over crowded, lets just call it natures way of keeping the population down!! EPIC FAIL on the goverments part!!!!!!!!!!!
