A lot of nothing. Again.

See, even though the embasy has e-mailed me saying that my case was "sent" back to the USA NVC finally mid July (about 7 days ago), the VSC only has record of the case and not if it's been recieved.

What kills me is that most of you have at least had a formal notice sent to you by the service center, and/or your cases were updated while others have even recieved their RFE's, especially those who thought they wouldn't recieve it. So yes, I think I have grounds to be concerned.

I called today, and they put in a report, told me to call in 30 days. I am actually about to start raging here. After 3 months of this hell of purgatory I am really startng to lose my patience again.

I wish I had a job at the VSC where I can talk a lot of nothing to someone on the phone. Wouldn't that be nice?

This is almost worse than being robbed. You feel violated and helpless because you can't do anything about it. I almost question as to why I even want to try starting my life here in America when things have come to this here.

Yeah that sucks, at least I know where ours is. I think.

I understand how you feel.

Hopefully you won´t wait as much as 30 days, but I´d call them every week. You know it depends on who you talk to on the phone.. Maybe someone there would be more helpful.

Good luck!

zethris, I'm so sorry for you. I can only imagine how horrible it must be not to have any news on your case. We've been doing a lot of waiting as well, but it does not compare to your case, or the cases of those who have had their cases misplaced. And it sucks that they will only give bits and pieces of information that won't lead to any concrete conclusion. If only we know of an effective way to find out anythig about these cases...

I know I didn't help. But I just had to let you know I'm totally sympathetic.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Found out today that someone that filed their petition the same time as me had his petition approved and his fiance is already in the states. However, it was a different country. Has anybody tried writing to USCIS and requesting the RFE?

They don't seem to be following any criteria to approve or send RFEs out. We've been trying to establish some kind of pattern by colleting data on recalled NOA2 petitions and have failed so far. I guess many people have called the service centers to beg for an RFE, but I'm afraid this is not how it works.

It's been a two year long process (well almost) already. The actuall submission didn't occur until later due to learning about this visa process, preparation, ensuring I had a good job to work at for incom requirements, preparation, and also more preparation. My concern is this delay is going to cause some of the evidence to be expired. Fact of the matter is, there are no overseer's overseeing these overseer's so they will allow for documents to expire We already have to renew CENOMAR, clearances, etc. I now may have to come up with another $2500 or so to go visit again next year when I have more time off available, and quite possibly have to re-apply if it doesn't go through by Sept or at the very latest Oct. Then, because there is yet another law on the books to be passed like this one slated this December, I could be lost in a never ending circus of being juggled by the clowns of the DHS and USCIS

I am getting caught in a cycle here, even though the VSC was as fast as everyone has said they were, it is irrelevent to the situation.

I love ya Jersey Girl, you are a great poster by the way, in some ways (except maybe my lower tollerances for this kind of thing) we are kindred spirits in humor.

Im with you Bud!!!

Starting to get Pissed again. It's like a cycle of anger, You get over it, then a couple of weeks pass and your back to square 1. I must admit that I waited to have my Fiance get her CENOMAR and Im hoping her other clearences don't expire. The reason I waited was I kind of expected nonsense like what we are going thru. I know I sound negative, but I have my share of tough breaks lol. This Immigration is such a racket. I too am traveling to the Philippines again.

zethris, I'm so sorry to be learning about the recalled petitions. This has got to be the worst kind of tease. You're approved! Opps, no you're not! But when you look at your actual petition, it has only been a few months. Everything was moving along well until you got sucked down by IMBRA. Think of it as a bathroom clog. At some point, the build up and pressure will create an explosion. Then they'll have to clean up the mess.
