I sent in my AOS about a month ago and about a week later, I call the NVC to confirm the package has been received. I was told that it was accepted and completed, however, two documents were missing. Although those two documents in which they say are missing were submitted before, I sent in a new I-864 form along with the missing documents before I received the checklist letter. And just today, I received the checlist letter, and it says to attach the checklist letter response to the missing doucments....but the documents have already been submitted.. will this affect or even dealy the process? Any ideas?

Sometimes it is an absolute waste of time to try to get checklist documents in early.

I would suggest that you reply to the checklist that you received today. I too tried what you did and was reassured many times that I did not need to reply to the hard copy RFE. Long story short I DID need to reply to it and that was several weeks wasted at NVC.

Before doing that I would call NVC though, see if they have received the documents you sent in pre-RFE - check to see if your case may even be complete. Get all the facts and good luck!

The only RFE I received after sending the I-864 was that they were missing the DS-230 but I hadn't received it from them yet. Maybe that's what they're referring to...?
