You're flying in from Floriday to Buffalo? Just so you know, I'm watching the flights into Buffalo like a hawk tomorrow so if I see anything you should know about.... I'll post it here...

I tried to stay busy at work today but how can you NOT think about Friday?!?!

Matt will be here after work in a bit.

I too, have never been to Montreal. A lot of people say it's nice. Not looking forward to driving around downtown though...Matt will do that part :P

I would love to meet the person who could compartmentalize enough to avoid thinking of Friday. Haha.

Well, the prices we saw in Montreal were about 103. something.

The first gas station we went to outside QC was 95. something.

Good luck to everyone!!!

They have an underground mall that connects to like 5 different shopping centers. It's called Eaton Center and that way you can walk around and avoid the cold. And then you can connect to other shopping centers through a tunnel. IT's pretty cool. It's like a whole different world under the streets. There are also alot of nice churches in Montreal. There's one very close to the consulate it's called St. Patricks church...in French obviously...and another one is St. Mary's church I think. They are absolutely amazing...so if you guys need something to do after your interview/ or before....those are some ideas.

The Notre Dame church is supposed to be a very nice one but we didn't have time or energy.

Flying from Orlando to Detroit, with a three hour layover in Nashville. From Detroit, he's taking the shuttle to Windsor, where I'll pick him up at 4. Then an hour drive back to my place, heh.

Ah, the joys of travel. He's a sucker for Southwest, and they killed their nonstops between Orlando and Detroit (which I why I refuse to take them), so it's basically a day of travel.

We are pretty lucky because all we have to do is a small drive from Hamilton to Buffalo and then take the non-stop to Orlando, and vise-versa. It is a short flight- 2.5 hours.

I can't believe I am going to Canada tomorrow and then to Montreal! This is so crazy! I've never been to Montreal (or any where in Canada that's not in Ontario lol).

I told Sean to call me as soon as he gets his police report because I am going to die if something goes wrong!

Ok, he FINALLY got his police report last night. He said it was ready the day after he requested it, even though they made him wait two weeks to get it. He also got the correct sized envelope.

The shuttle is coming to get me in one hour and then I am off to the airport!

Kick butt all

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
