Ack, I forgot he was still waiting on his report. Has he been banging on the office door since dawn? I would be.

Yeah, I take the shuttle to Detroit and fly nonstop to Orlando via Spirit. It takes a fair bit of medication and other methods for me not to be sick in the air, so I avoid anything over the 2.5hr flight.

And it's all so surreal, I agree! I can't believe Ben will be here, and I can't believe we're headed to Montreal tomorrow! Excited yet insanely nervous (and trying hard to hide that fact).

You're not hiding it too well on here lol. I've seen you post that you are nervous at least a half dozen times.

No, he is not banging on the door. He will casually stop by around lunch time, stroll in, pick it up, and leave. Then he'll call me and say "I told you it would be here on time." I am sure it will be ready in time, but still, waiting until the last minute was a bad call on his part.

Shhhh. No one else knows.

I wish I could be so cavalier with things like that. Ben is too. I have to prepare weeks in advance just in case I need a fall-back, or the fall-back falls through, or.... Heh.

Haha. It's funny how relationships go like that sometimes. In my marriage, I'M the one who is always ####### about getting everything assembled WAY beforehand. Then again, I'm always early for things, put CDs, DVDs in alphabetical order etc. My wife is the one who is perfectly comfortable with leaving things to last minute and is often a few minutes late for things. Oddly enough, I sort of find it adorable in her. I don't think I could find a trait adorable in anyone else, but...it's just part of her, and I find it endlessly amusing most of the time.

Ha! So true. Earlier today my wife and I exchanged a few emails, wherein I mentioned I would have a poutine in Montreal, since I'd never had a REAL one. She said that we could get a poutine in Hamilton or Buffalo when I'm there for Thanksgiving next week, but I said no way! My poutine experience will be the only thing taking my mind off the interview!

Remember for those of you that are driving:

A) all the signs are in french as soon as you cross into quebec.

B) If you don't speak french, get gas and food before you cross into quebec

C) You CANNOT turn right on a red light in Montreal.

Sean's mom is French-Canadian, she teaches at a french immersion school, and Sean took French in high school. So please explain to me why he knows NO french???

I had no idea about not turning right on red! That is craziness!!!!

Seriously they don't speak English? I thought they were mostly bilingual.

In Montreal they are, but if you stop like in rural Quebec, chances are they won't serve you if you don't speak french.

Also, going out to dinner, you need to get English Menus

No right on red lights are common in Michigan. Some intersections I can see why they don't allow it, but I think its its a dumb rule.

I don't know much french. I guess "voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir" isn't going to help us if we get lost.....

Get gas REGARDLESS before you pass into Quebec.

The price skyrockets.

Yeah, when I was in D.C. a couple weeks ago I was driving my wife's car and was about to take a right turn on a red light before she stopped me from doing so. It was a "no turn on red" light. Fortunately there aren't many of them down there, but still...it'll take a little bit of getting used to, since it's common practise up here to turn on red.

I don't know much french. I guess "voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir" isn't going to help us if we get lost.....

Or "Voulez vous...aha...la question c'est voulez vous!" for that matter. :P
