I keep looking everywhere, but I just cant find a straight answer to this -

Does anyone know if vaccinations are required by the consulate for them to issue a K3 visa??

Even better - Does anyone who has ever been to mumbai consulate to get a k3 visa, did they need to supply proof that they got their vaccines to the consulate officer/vfs?

Has anyone ever came to USA on a k3 visa without going through getting vaccines? bonus points if you had ur interview in mumbai consulate...

Vaccinations are not required for nonimmigrant visas. They will be required, however, for the Adjustment of Status

What gets me worried is if there's any idiot consular officers in mumbai that don't know the laws and can turn around and say that vaccine is required and blue slipp us.. any way we can fight them over it if it comes down to that?

Why not just get the vaccinations? You may find that they are more expensive if you wait and get them in the US.

Has your SO been to their medical yet?

I would guess that at the medical they would get all the shots they need etc. The Civil Surgeons generally know what they are doing as they deal with it all the time.

If not then yes, medical things in america cost A LOT MORE than they would in the country you are coming from. Pretty much nothing is " covered " here as it might be where you are from and in that case a lot cheaper.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I would rather spend the more money and wait until my wife gets the shots in USA when she turns 27 in about 2 months, than for her to get them now and they force that gardasil sh*t on her. She's soo close to 27 already, but because of some stupid technicality they force a vaccine on her that really should remain optional as it is in USA right now.

according to mumbai consulate, they are requiring vaccines for K3 visa. Physicians say the same thing too..

Just an update - the gardasil shot is no longer required so she can go ahead and get her other vaccinations now.
