So we have been stuck in FBI name check after our Conditional Green Card interview for nearly 4 months.

Any ideas what we can do to assist with this? As expected the USCIS us absolutely worthless on this subject stating it can take up to 7 years and promptly spitting on you. Congessman seems to be able to get a in process status but nothing more.

I will see if I can find the memo, but there was recent correspondence regarding this and the total time limit to keep a case "suspended" was to be capped at 6 mos. It was something to the effect that the case could be approved conditionally (or subject to) final outcome but the process could move forward...

Call that Congressman every single day. Twice, if needed. If you call so often, they'll bug someone to get you to quit calling.

Ensure your beneficiary makes and brings with them to the States a copy of the DS-3025 (vaccination form)

Asking a Congressman to help is a good idea. Also try contacting USCIS Ombudsman.
