I finally received the approval email confirming that our I-130 was approved yesterday. YESSSSSSSS!!

Let's hope the rest goes quickly. I am not cancelling the I-129F until we get further along. Who know's maybe the I-129F will get my husband here faster.

Good luck to those in waiting.

05.02.2008 - Sent AOS & EAD package to Chicago.

05.04.2008 - Package recieved in Chicago.

05.09.2008 – Received NOA's.

06.04.2008 - Biometrics appt.

07.25.08 - Work Permission Received in Mail

07.28.08 - Applied for Social Security Number

08.04.08 - Received Social Security Number in Mail

09.29.08 - Started job

01.29.09 - AOS Interview

congratulations on your approval but i willa dvice you to forget the I129F and move ahead with the I130 simple if he comes home on the k visa it is another waiting game to file the adjustment of status but if he comes home on the I130 he will receive his green card 2 weeks after arrival in the USA think about this before you move ahead i was a victim of the K3 visa and the wait is endless.so u decide.

CairoBound, there are others who plan to allow I-129f to progress even with approval to I-130. There's no hard evidence yet to confirm that K3 is dead, defunct, extinct, and not worth pursuing for those who want to be reunited quicker. We'll be watching.
