We filed the petition since Februay 2008, but after the big storm has passed, we finally have our interview appointment. I was very surprised it took just a few days to get an appointment date after I mailed the packet 3.

I heard that the interviews were generally at least 90 minutes long. Will you folks tell me what kinds of questions I should be expected? I think this is a broad question. Any advice will be much appreciated.

Thanks!

One more thing, we don't have a ring nor a wedding date set yet. Is that going to be a problem? I saw a post on VJ suggesting that an updated letter of intent from a fiance should be ok. Is that still true?

My fiancee was only asked how we met and when we planned to get married. It sounds like most interviews are very fast. Can't really plan a date when you don't know when it it will all be done so she just told them "before Christmas" which is within the 90 days and is pretty much the extent of our plans

90 Min long ? where you hear that ? they are short only ask 4-5 question at Bangkok. There is a Nice lady doing it now and it seems the only people not getting the visa are the ones that don't have all their paper work in order.

Ring - not proof of relationship.

Wedding date - the DOS says clearly not to quit your job, make wedding plans, etc. before the interview is successful.

Hey, I just looked at your timeline - you're worried about the interview and your NOA2 isn't in the bag?

A little confusing for those trying to help.

Best of luck on the interview

If that's the case you are missing 4-5 steps in your timeline.

If you forget exact dates, no problem; having some date there

protects the integrity of the database and helps others on their visa journey.
