And when will we need to use this Xray again? Is it imp to keep?

You will get it at SLMEC along with your vaccination report. But I really don't know when it will be used...

You don't need it for any other Purpose! You can hang it on the wall, file it with your paper work or toss it in the trash.

My girl just told me that they just gave her a sealed CD with the Xray info on it, so no more actual Xray film coming out of Manila. Wow, I guess this is a news flash, 'cause no one else knew about it on this thread, so there you have it from me first, hehe. Maybe this is a new cutting edge procedure, and not all Embassies put the Xray on the CD yet. Today, another VJr from UK was wondering how to take her Xray film on the plane wo/ folding it or damaging it . Thanks for all the input. Cheers.

Last year my wife got the big xray film. From reading on here it seems like about 6 months ago they went to CD's form in PI. I guess the vendors standing outside SLMEC selling plastic bags for your x rays have been outsourced.

It used to be at Manila airport you would see all the immigrant holding there xray packages to keep from bending them.

The results of the immigrants medical is included in the brown envelope. No one will/should take your X-ray, the USCIS (INS) doesn't care about it. What was the reason for taking hers at the POE?

Yes, it was a very tragic day that the plastic bag vendors outside USEM got outsourced!

Very romantic to have a picture so you can see her from the inside as well. I think I'm turning Japanese, I really think so!

I also got the small sealed envelope with a CD of my X-ray result. I was thinking that it will be asked during my POE but the immigration officer didn't ask for anything at all other than the brown envelope. I have the impression that it will be needed during AOS application but I'm not so sure. Maybe someone can clarify it...
