Packaging my documents for my fiance

Hi guys,

I have yet another question. I'm trying to figure out the best way to package all of my support documents, proof of relationship, etc... to send to my fiance for him to take to his interview. I have gotten several two pocket folders that have the three brass brackets down the center. I don't want to hole punch any of the paperwork, but I thought I could put them in clear page protectors and then put them in the folders. I plan on putting dividers in each folder, for example one folder would be all my affidavit of support forms and our co-sponsor's forms and I would place dividers in the folder marking what each thing is. That's as clear as mud I know. I guess what I'm trying to find out is, will the embassy be okay with putting paperwork in clear page protectors? How have others put their paperwork together? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I just seperated the documents with binder clips and put a coversheet with everything that was in that section (ie..I-134 and supporting docs in 1 section, etc.... I also put sticky notes on everything as well.

Hi Anna,

Once I had received all the documents from my then fiance I repackaged them, so I was familiar with everything, popped them all into clear pockets and placed them all into a file with index and tabs. With original documents, I placed them at the front of the pocket with two copies behind for the Embassy.

I've attached an image of what the file I took to my interview looked like!.

Thanks for your advice, gmjdmj! It's good to know how other people have packaged their documents.

Dom, thanks once again for your advice. Thank you for sharing the picture of your paperwork folder! WOW! That's impressive! Now that I know that we can use binders and such, I'm going to start packaging my paperwork! Thanks again!
