Hi again guys,

We're currently gathering our next pieces together for the interview stage after receiving our NOA2 for our K1 visa process and we are currently trying to fill in the I-134. We've done a bit of research but can't find the answers to a few questions we have, so if anyone could be great enough to shed some light we'd really appreciate it.

Firstly on the form there is only room to fill in one job - my fiancee has two and is both needed to pass the required poverty line - where should we put the second job down?

Secondly, if we are going this route then do we just need two pay stubs as evidence for each job, or would we require bank statements as well regardless?

Lastly on question 10 and 11 can we literally fill it in as shown in the example form on here (obviously changing the name) and put N/A ( K1 visa process for permanent residence ) as its shown in the example form? On another example form we found they had wrote out that the expenses would be room/food/board etc.

Sorry if these have already been asked before, we did do a search beforehand!

Thanks again,

For the paystub part of your question, we submitted 6 paystubs, most people also submit a letter from their employers. - You want to use as many recent paystubs as you can.

I think you can put " see attached " and attach a sheet listing the question number and the question with the answer of the 2 jobs with all their information. - We had to do this for a few other questions on different forms and it was accepted. Somone else may know different for the I-134 tho.

Question 10 and 11 we filled in exactly as the examples showed.

You don't need bank statements if you are not using cash in the bank/assets to meet the income requirement. If her employment meets the requirement that is sufficent.

I also included W2s and tax transcripts in addition to the letter from my employer and the paystubs.

I put "N/A Visa process for permanent residence" just like on the example form found here on VJ.

The London USE likes people to put "intend" to offer support instead of the "not intend" mark that VJ puts down, as a FYI.

I just looked at the VJ example, and the box for "intend" "do not intend" doesn't look like it's checked at all? That's a good point though, to check the box even if you are saying "N/A ( K1 visa process for permanent residence )."

With respect to income and the I-134:

Personally, I would include w-2's, Bank statements, letter from employer(s) and any other evidence that places the "petitioner" above the poverty line of income. Without that proof, the petitioner will be found ineligible to sponsor the intending immigrant (you).

Supply what is needed for approval.

All the Best,

William.

I would suggest submitting more than two paystubs from each job. We had our interview in August and I submitted all paystubs back to the first of the year where the previous year w-2 left off. Overkill to be sure, but as a great Englishman John "Pondoro" Taylor once said..."It is better to be caught slightly overgunned than to be stomped into small bits by an elephant" Something between two check stubs and 8 months, should be fine.

Just list both jobs in the palce for one...write one on top of the other. London, I have on good wuthority, actually expects you to say you will provide support for your fiance(e) Maybe you can add, "in exchange for Wednesday night sex" No, better not, it's London. Anyway, some people check the "yes" box and then write something to the affect of "I intend to support my spouse" Most consulates accept "NA K-1 visa for permanent residency"

On the other hand, if one recent check stub is from the same company your primary W2 income came from and it shows year to date income, one is enough.
