Hello everyone :help: !!

I am fairly new to this site....I just had some questions and would LOVE someone to help me. I filed an I-130 on behalf of my husband and had it express mailed to the US DHS- USCIS. (We got married a month ago  )... USCIS sent my application back with a form I-797 stating, "please sign your application with original signature in ink, as we do not accept signatures that have been photocopied or signed and initialed on your behalf."

I understand that they want original signatures and I made a mistake sending the phtotcopied I-130 and G-325A forms...however, what should I do with my husband's G-325A forms....he lives on the other side of the world and it will be really difficult to get his application with "original signature"...it will take months for me to get the forms to him to sign and then back to me. Has anyone else had this king of problem???

Please help!!

Thanks

My husband had to federal express me whenever there was a form needed with his original signature on it. You could always scan it, email it to him and let him express them back to you, or have him download them himself then fedex to you.

Best Wishes.

You need to contact him...have him send you new ones signed (each copy) in blue ink so that there is no misunderstanding that they are not original signatures. A simple reading of the GUIDES above would have prevented all of this.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

You have no choice. You need original signatures. Sorry -

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Yes, the signature has to be original, photocopy of the signature is never accepted. You can have your husband download the G-325A form (all 4 pages), have him sign and date, have him express mail them to you right away. Once you receive the G-325 with his signatures, then you can fill them out. Or your husband can fill G-325A out on the computer, print them out, sign and date them, and express mail them to you.

The USCIS link for G-325A is as follows. He can fill it out on the computer after downloading it. Good thing of filing them out online is, when you fill out one page, it automatically fills out for all 4 pages.

In future, please do not send the signature's photocopy unless they asked for photocopy specifically.

Online was very easy for us.

If you have Adobe Acrobat standard, the form can be filled out anywhere, emailed and printed for signature.

Sending stuff to Kenya from the USA is booku bucks, so any edge obtained via digital relay is usually a big advantage.

Good luck
