It's totally normal. If you want to feel more secure, run the UPS tracking number and get a delivery confirmation and it will tell you who signed for it :)

It took about 2 weeks for me to receive NOA1 (Notice of Action 1 - receipt of the petition) in the mail. It can also take longer, depending on how busy they are.

So just hang in there! :star:

UPS to a PO BOX ? OK !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

hey friends;

pleas ehelp me and my fiancee sent the I-129F to this adress P.O.Box 10130

Languna niguel, CA 92607-1013 by UPS and it's a week now without anything

UPS normally doesn't deliver to P.O. box.

http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/resources...es/how_to4.html

If a shipper should use a P.O. Box address, the recipient´s telephone number must be included on the label. Your package that is addressed to a P.O. Box may be delayed, will not be covered by any UPS Service Guarantee, and will require an address correction charge.

The USCIS California Service Center has a physical address for deliveries from private couriers like UPS:

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD

California Service Center

24000 Avila Road

2nd Floor, Room 2312

Laguna Niguel, CA 92677

It's possible that you might never receive a delivery confirmation from UPS. If you paid with a personal check then you can watch your checking account to see if/when the check clears, and get your receipt number from the back of the canceled check. Or, just wait for the NOA in the mail.

Ya, UPS to a PO BOX seems troublesome, at least to me.

HOPEFULLY the OP used USPS instead? One can hope ?

Patience is the name of the game with all this visa stuff....you wait for the NOA1, you wait LONGER for the NOA2, and then you wait again while it makes its way to the NVC. That is where I am now, and it's driving me crazy that they don't have ours at the NVC yet! Inshaallah, you will have a confirmation soon, and your NOA1 will tell you how to create an account on USCIS so you can track any touches and receive an email and/or text update when it is finalized. GOOD LUCK to you throughout your journey....

Do you see how big the sea is?

Do you see how big the sea is? My love for you is as big as the sea.

Do you see how far the sky is? My love for you is as far as the sky.

As big as the sea and as far as the sky I love you,

I waited for you, I called upon you, I drew you on the promenades,

You sorrow of my life, you tears of the flowers, you season of the birds,

How vast the forest is, my heart is as vast as the forest.

You who are drawn on my door, and drawn in my heart,

I waited for you a year, and throughout the year I would ask the walnut trees,

and I would see you in the sunny days, coming from the sunny days, and lost in the almond leaves,

How small is a tear, and I am just a tear in your way,

I want to vow a candle so that you would let me love you.

UPS to a PO BOX ? OK !

OMG I can't believe that I didn't catch this.

This will definitely be returned if sent UPS. I'm shocked they even picked it up. Usually in the shipping program it won't even let you type in a PO Box.

Hopefully the OP meant USPS

I think you're right about the online system not accepting a PO box number. I've used the online system dozens of times, but I've never tried sending to a PO box with it.

A few years ago I DID send a package via UPS to a PO box, but I sent the package at a 3rd party shipping agent (Mailboxes 'R Us, or something like that). They accepted it, and UPS shipped it. We had a UPS employee post about this a month or two ago, and what they did with my package was pretty much what he described. They try to find a deliverable address in their computers at the distribution center in the destination region. If they find one, then they attempt shipment to that address. If not, they try to look up an address in the phone book. If that fails, they return the package. My package ended up going to the mayor of the town, who happened to have the same name as the person I was shipping to. My intended recipient never got the package, nor was it ever returned to me. I didn't bother asking the mayor to give my package back. It was just a cheezy Christmas gift.

I think the UPS distribution center for Laguna Niguel knows where the USCIS office is, so I think they'd deliver the package there. Others have sent UPS to the PO box, and their package eventually got there, but it was delayed and they didn't always get a delivery confirmation. I think some have also reported that their package was returned.

3rd party shipping agents should advise customers about this when they try to ship to a PO box, but I suspect many aren't aware of the UPS rules.

It can simply take 'a while' - the system that physically sends NOA's is automated and can be unreliable at times - there is no reason to believe that your case is not being processed in the order it was received (more or less) just like it should be. It is very likely that when you do eventually get the first NOA that it will have a Notice Date of about when the package was originally received. (Its been 4-weeks, you know they received it and it hasn't been returned to you, is my line of thinking.)

It can take a while to get your NOA 1. I would sit back and relax, this only 1 week into your journey, your waiting has just began.
