I did some research before submitting my affidavit of support papers, and had assumed I had the correct forms. However, I have read on another topic to submit different forms. Initially I submitted I-134 forms, and it was stated to submit I-864 if I have a cosponsor. We are filing a K1 Fiance Visa,.... which ones and I supposed to submit? Thanks!

Heres what it states on the website....

The following immigrants are required by law to submit FormI-864 completed by the petitioner to obtain an immigrant visaoverseas or to adjust status to that of a lawful permanentresident in the United States:

Who Needs This Form?

All immediate relatives of U.S. citizens (spouses, unmarriedchildren under age 21, and parents of U.S. citizens age 21and older);

All family-based preference immigrants (unmarried sonsand daughters of U.S. citizens, spouses and unmarried sonsand daughters of permanent resident aliens, married sonsand daughters of U.S. citizens, and brothers and sisters ofU.S. citizens age 21 and older); and

Employment-based preference immigrants in cases onlywhen a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident relativefiled the immigrant visa petition or such relative has asignificant ownership interest (five percent or more) in theentity that filed the petition.

He's not a spouse, no immediate relative... just a fiance. So thats why we filed the I-134. Any thoughts?

I think for the consulate in Casablanca you only need the I-134, as many times they don't even look at it... but when you are doing AOS I believe that's when you have to have the I-864. Hopefully someone else will chime in! Good luck!

I have heard the same thing about Casablanca. I went and I printed off the I-864 form to see what it said, and seen on question 1.... you are suuposed to check appropriate box, "I am the peittioner for realative", or "I filed for an alien worker..." etc etc... none of them said "I am the petitioner for FIANCE".. so I guess this form does no apply after all maybe. So I believe you are corrected with the I-134 also. Thanks so much for responding!

Your welcome! In the situation with Adjustment of Status, once your fiancé is here and you have married it would be appropriate to fill out the I-864. :D
