My wife and I had our interview today. We went in with tons of documentation, and spent the night yesterday reviewing our entire relationship and quizzing each other.

The Officer asked for some documents, which we had copies of. Our lawyer actually had made a packet and he just handed the whole thing to her. She flipped thru it and asked us to verify some dates, our names, and some other information in the packet, then she said:

"Ok, this all looks good. You can keep your EAD for now, I'm supposed to take it but you keep it in case you're looking for work in the next couple of weeks. Please destroy it when you get your Green Card. You should get an approval letter within a week, unless I need more documentation in which case I'll let you know of that."

We left feeling great, I guess this means we passed!

Congratulations!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
