Can anyone that has been through Chicago ORD as a Port of entry tell me what has been their experiance as a Fiance. I have come through many times as a US citizen. Long lines and waiting for luggage. A few questions about what I was bringing back is about all I know. Should we expect anything else?

Good luck to all,

Fred

Have a look at the POE reviews - select Chicago.

I'd be more concerned about airport navigation than the actual POE process... Chicago can be a little confusing...

YMMV

ETA personally I've always found Chicago very easy to navigate. Hubby has gone through there on most all his visits with little to no problems.

For native English speakers maybe... my wife got lost trying to get from the international terminal to concourse C

YMMV

I've not heard that before - but maybe what I am thinking of more specifically is the immigration experiences (not the experience in total).

Thanks for the concern. I will be on the other side of the doors waiting impatiently.

Good luck to all,

From the IAF you gotta take the train to terminal 2 and then navigate into concourse B and then find the underground connecting tunnel to concourse C... If you don't understand the signage then it can be a daunting experience

YMMV
