DS 156 form

does the ds 156 have to be typed in [filled out online] and then printed , or can i copy it then fill in by hand.and how about the 157 and other last k form

All the forms should be type written. DS-156K and DS-157 can only be filled in in adobe (not the automatic form they have for DS-156). You need to check the correct consulte to confirm whether you are required to do DS-156 online or you can type write it (preferably in Adobe) separately. Again, everything is smoother if you type it.

They can be either typed or written, except for the ds156. When you print it it also prints out a page with a barcode and who knows if it is really needed or not. It is always best in my humble opinion to do all forms on the puter and print them, they look much more professional.
