April 26, 2010 - Received NOAs for I-485, I-765, I-131

May 13, 2010 - Transferred to the CSC

May 19, 2010 - Biometrics appointment

June 17th, 18th, 22nd, 23rd & 30th - touches on I-485

June 25th, 2010 - E-mail: EAD approved

June 30th, 2010 - 2nd E-mail for EAD

July 1st, 2010 - Email: RFE being sent for AOS

Hey everyone.. we passed as well.. female interviewer commented that we had "the fastest interview ever!" I'm sure she was exaggerating but it still felt nice :)

We also made the request to pick up the visa this Monday so we could drive together to the States that same day. They obliged! We are picking it up from the consulate on Monday at 3pm.

Congrats to all who passed and good luck to the rest! It's easy if you follow every bit of advice you receive on this website and cover every single base possible! I'll post my review soon.

I didn't get to meet you guys :(

But Congrats :) I think everyone got approved yesterday. Except for maybe that guy that was giving his documents at the same time as us. He didn't have anythings filled out and had a criminal record. He sounded really confused. I don't think he was from VJ.'

BUT If you guys are still in town, which I think yo are, we could meet up!

Peachey, not sure who you were in there, but we were the antisocial ones in the back row ;) We're in Ottawa now and will just be passing through MTL on Monday to pick up the Passport, then heading straight down to NJ. Sorry we didn't get to meet but best wishes for your wedding!

We were third in line after Darkchilde and Rhiann. Our consulate experience sounds a lot like Peachey's. Everyone there was so nice! One of the lady's collecting papers was even joking about how everyone felt being there on Friday the 13th.

I'll update more later, but time for bed! I am so sleep deprived!

I just got home from Montreal after a very long drive home through whats left of Hurricane Ida rain and wind!

Visa got logged in Montreal post office at 9:40 this morning. Silly Canada Post did not inform me until noon time, and I basically went a wee bit mental the entire morning waiting. Hahahahaha.

I was wondering if anyone here is shipping their stuff. I know airlines (United) charge like 125 for the 3rd suitcase. I have wayyy to much stuff so I was thinking of shipping textbooks. What would be cheaper...canadapost, fedex, purolator?? it's to california btw.
