Thank you all guys and girls for support! We'll hang on, sure, but it's really so upsetting us. Its already 2 weeks after sending from NVC and no information at the embassy. As for their site with schedule for interview, they renew it not so often, so the only way to know it asap is e-mailing them or calling to DOS. Thanks for good advice! Good luck to all!

Hey Guys

Hope this helps timeline comments

7/10 NOA2 reads:

"The petition has been approved, and forwarded to the listed consulate. The consulate has also been notified by cable."

7/15 Called NVC they have case as of 7/12 left for Moscow on 7/19

7/20 Moscow writes they do not have.

7/20 - 7/28 Call to Dept of State

5 people tell me that Moscow sent packet on 7/26 and is waiting for response (not true Moscow does not send packet until administrative review has been completed)I even tell them that Moscow does not ask for anything to be returned until interview day. 1 guy tell me that Moscow is waiting for a visa to be available(LOL)

07/26 I call Moscow - In administrative review

07/27 Write Moscow to try and clear up the State Dept saying packet sent

07/30 Moscow "case is currently undergoing administrative review wait 2-3 weeks."

08/18 Write Moscow

08/19/2006 Moscow Web Site shows interview date

8/22/06 Moscow emails me "The administrative review has been completed. The visa interview is scheduled for October 5, 2006"

9/13 Write Moscow - no packet yet

John and Anna, does it mean NVC never told you anything positive by the phone? And Embassy didn't tell your date of interview in almost a month after leaving NVC? Please clarify this matter. We're still waiting to know our date too after 4 months of stucking in CSC! THANKS!

Nothing except when they recieved it and when they send it

John,

My fiancee has run into some difficulties with the paperwork. She tried to get the police certificates and they gave her the runaround. She had to go several times to her local police station to request these certificates and they finally told her that it takes two or four weeks. I ask her to call the Embassy and ask them what it is better to get a new interview date or appear next Thursday and come back with the missing documents. The K1 visa approval expires on November 7. I hope they can give a new interview date before then. Otherwise I have to ask for an extension on the K1 visa approval.

Hey Cesar,

I had Anna get the Police Cert (it took 3 weeks) and Schedule the Medical in July. All the requirements / documents are listed on Moscow's web site. But from what I understand the packet is just this page: http://moscow.usembassy.gov/consular/consu...cord_id=fiancee

in Russian but it also includes an invitation letter to get into the embassy on the day of the Interview. That's what I am looking for. I wrote Moscow and asked them to fax it. I will keep you 'et al' posted here or in my Timeline comments.

I gave Anna all documents and we reviewed labor day weekend while I was there. Just fedexed corrections / air tickets yesterday.

It's getting close...

Don't worry, Cesar, if she won't get this package at all. I know a lot of girls passing the interview never getting this package. She's gonna be at the list of the officer at the door of the Embassy. As for police record, you'd better GO ANYWAY to pass her interview and if it'll be the only thing missing, they will interview her and give her visa as soon as she'll send them police record. (you SHOULD do it a long time ago actually, besides if she'd pay for it a lil bit more, it would be done within a week!do it!) And good luck you both!

John, you got EXACTLY the same reply from DOS as my baby got whe he called them recently. Together with soooooooo nice advice to chack embassy site with schedule of interviews!

They just confirmed that NVC sent it on 25th of auagust! It's almost a month and nothing! Arghhh! :(

MaClaud,

My fiancee requested the Consulate to reschedule her interview for a later date. She was not comfortable going through with the interview without the police certificates. We were so fortunate to get a date in October. This means if all goes well she will be here during the second week in November. Thanks a lot for your help.

John,

It seems that the two of us might have our fiancees here before Thanksgiving.
