my wife got approved but they need one additional document. does anyone know how long she will get her visa?

hi everyone my wife had her interview here at the us embassy in manila last october 29. she got approved but the CO needed her to change her passport with my last name. so today my wife will pick up her new passport at the DFA and bring additional document on monday. does anyone know when she does that when will she get her visa? i called embassy today and a lady told me that it will take 2 to 3 weeks to process. is that true? i was hoping it will be sooner than that since that is the only thing the CO needs to see. is name of paspport. thank u everyone for ur help

Congratulation!

Why did she need to get her last name changed? Was it because it didn't match her name in I-130 or DS-230?

I also have a CR-1 case pending with NVC I told my wife not to change her name, because I thought it shouldn't matter.
