I think La Gente has spoken!

"One of the country’s leading Hispanic organizations is launching a campaign designed to pressure CNN to rein in host Lou Dobbs.

The organization behind the campaign, Democracia Ahora, is kicking off the effort Friday with the release of a report based on interviews with 100 Hispanic leaders about the impact of Dobbs’ evening show.

The results of the report are not surprising – 90 percent of the interviewees believe Dobbs is helping create a negative image of Hispanics, with his frequent criticisms of illegal immigration. "

“CNN needs to take responsibility for what he’s saying,” he said, adding, “We want CNN to insure that Lou Dobbs is going to stick with the facts. He can have his opinions but he can’t present his opinions as facts.”

I don't think it's a direct cause of this prejudiced 'newsperson' leaving CNN.. but, maybe there's some to it.. and, good for CNN

I was going to post this earlier. I was wondering the same thing, if he will end up at Fox.

Latinos are celebrating... I think their celebration will be short lived, because he will end up somewhere doing exactly as he was on CNN pretty much.

Life..... Nobody gets out alive.

What is the groups name again? Just found it: El Stupido

They need to learn, this is American and not Mehico. Lou Dob's opinions are covered by freedom of speech.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Is that the same freedom you mock on a regular basis?

ah, yeah.. you're a good reader.. they are asking for accountability, Dobbs loves to present his beliefs as facts, unlike you, he doesn't present 1000 of unrelated data, he just says whatever the fukcs he thinks, and says 'its a fact'.. BS

No. Freedom to voice your opinion is something protected in most industrialized twenty-first century first world nations.

What is not protected is crude behavior and so on; which is what I mock.

 Unrelated because you don't agree with it.

Nonetheless, it's better than ZERO data.

Illustrating the huge disparity in various rates (in America), when compared to absolutely everyone else in this world is hardly targeting Latinos. It's called pointing out reality.

Your problem is that you assume I am saying this means every single Latino is, for example, a gang banger; not only is this assumption of my comment wrong, but totally not the point.

Same goes with illustrating where the majority of illegal aliens in the United States come from. Hint: It's not Australia, Africa, Asia or Europe.

Hence why so many around the world, including myself, mock it. You know, the 95% who don't live in the US.
