hello to everyone i am new here on this site and very nice to join here, hope somebody welcome me here and helping my problem of my papers..

By the way here is my question.

My husband and I were married in a couples years now (5 yrs) and got 1 kid now, what is the best way to get a visa for us? it is CR-1 or IR-1????? coz im a little confused...:-(

thanks to all you guys hope you can help me waaaaa!!!

OCT /17 /2012-- recieved notice from the mail.

DEC /17 / 2012--- APPROVED NOA2

DEC / 22 / 2012-- recieved Hardcopy of Noa2

JAN/ 05/ 2013-- Recieved our papers to NVC

feb 11 2013__ paid aos

april 15 2013-- paid iv bill

aug 29,2013-AOS AND IV PACKET recieved nvc sept 3 2013

sept 6 2013 sent via email ds260

sep 27 2013 2tNVC- got email checklist

NOV 16 2013 sent nvc checklist document fedex istimate friday will recieve to nvc

nov 25 2013--nvc review our docs. waiting for cc

dec 6 2013 -- nvc email got 2nd checklist but case complete.

dec 13 2013-- got P4

dec 19 and 20-- passed medical

JAN 2, 2014 INTERVIEW DATE

Welcome to vj! When your husband file you and your child the I-130, you will be in the category of IR-1and your child will be in IR-2 because you both married for more than 2 years.Why it takes so long before your husband file for a petition for you?

May 20, 2009 - I-130 sent

Aug. 21, 2009 - I-130 APPROVED

Sept. 01, 2009 - NVC received & case# assigned

Oct. 19, 2009 - Log-in FAILED (YEPEE!!!!)

Oct. 20, 2009 - Case COMPLETE!!! (confirmed by the NVC operator)

Oct. 27, 2009 - Interview Date assign(By NVC operator)

Nov. 16-17, 2009 - Medical PASSED

Dec. 04, 2009 - INTERVIEW(APPROVED!!!)

Dec. 08, 2009 - Visa pick-up at the Embassy

Dec. 16, 2009 - CFO

Dec. 19, 2009 - My Flight - POE (JFK New York) via NWA

As far as I know if your son is a US citizen he will just need to get a US passport and file him for CRBA with your hubby. Your hubby is american. Yup it is more fast if you make your self to file for the petition than to ask for a lawyers service and you can go here at vj for guide.

YES he is US cetizen, we plan together my hubby to get my son US passport and file also his crba....so LADY AA so my son he still need to get an IR-2 or not??? just confused...so when we start again to process our paperwork.. i just go here VJ to ask some problem right.. thank you so muich,,,

No, your son is already US citizen just apply him for CRBA.

Welcome to VJ. Just file the I-130 petition and the US governmental agencieas will decide whether you get a CR/1 or IR/1 visa. CR/1 is for married less than 2 years and IR/1 is married for more than 2 years.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg
