Hi all,

just a few words of encouragement. We started this long journey 4 years ago when we met online in June 2002. (L) I got my visa Aug 04...and we got married in Nov 04. So we are approaching our 2nd wedding anniversary soon.

All the paperwork ect. seems so long ago now, although we still have 1 more interview to go through in Nov 07 to get my conditions removed.

I remember the pain of waiting for forms and letters from the different offices in the USA and the UK....we often ask ourselves..would we do it all again.... YES! (not sure if my dog, who had to endure the long flight to the USA would aggree though..lol ) It has been worth all the sleepless nights, the form filling, the check signing and the heartbreak of not being together.

Hang in there...it will be woth it in the end.

Love and best wishes to you all,

Carol XXX

Very kind of you to take the time to encourage us, Carol. As I've posted before, I feel like I'm in the Land of the Forgotten...

But it WILL be worth it in the end, and that's the reason we get on with every day.

Best wishes, and congratulations on your anniversary!

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.
