Hello All,

AOS interview set for Aug 3rd. I have all documentation, except they're asking for certified copy of marriage certificat... We were mairried overseas and submitted everything already at least 2x - OK I have the origional - since time is not on my side will the origional be accepted, or will we have a delay. Any have similar situation? Thanks

An original is far better than a certified copy. Can you submit it now (I am assuming you have an RFE - otherwise just send a copy) and obtain another one for later use (I am not sure but may need it again?) We got 3 originals (or certified copies - they look exactly the same - extra copies were $2 or $3 in Orlando, FL.) Good Luck

One other question - the appointment letter states to bring birth cert for any childere - we both have grown kids from previous marriage, over 20, one is married, do I still need to bring the kids birth cert, the ex wife has them and she's not cooperating and I'm running out of time interview is next Thursday (Aug 3rd).
