Hi,

I would like to know if anyone here had an experience having their interview date cancelled? We got a notice last week that I am scheduled for an interview on december 10th. I got my notice first and my daughters after 2 days. Then today, I got a notice for my daughter that the interview date has been cancelled. Can anyone tell me whats that supposed to mean? I am worried now.

It may have a reason on the notice, or it may say "due to circumstances beyond our control, we must cancel the interview".

They probably have a christmas party scheduled for that day. Don't laugh, there was a post once with a similar situation. Their interview was canceled due to "circumstances beyond our control" said the letter. The person was advised (on here) to go anyway.

When they arrived at the USCIS office, they were having a party.:dance::dance::dance::wow::rofl:

Your daughter is a K2 or K4 I presume, yes? They usually do not have interviews. Neither of our sons did. The K2/K4 is derivitive of your AOS, so if you are approved, they are approved. They probably saw that and decided she did not need an interview.

They didnt cancel mines tho. (as of this very moment) Is that maybe because they only need to interview me? Does that mean I dont need to bring her on the interview day? She got class tho, so if I do not need to bring her, I wont tell her teacher she'd be absent. Do I also need her medical taken for a civil surgeon here in Hawaii? thank you for all your reply.
