How to enter receipt number on the phone?

Hi...

I am trying to call USCIS (1-800-375-5283) to ask about my RFE that I received yesterday and the automated voice thing asked for receipt number. My receipt number is MSCXXXXXXXXXX and how on earth do I enter it from my Blackberry cell phone? I think I am kinda dumb for not able to do this but I hope some of you may help me. Thanks!

The BB keypad is just like any other phone, numbers/letters. To use the #s press the alt key and then the number

The automated system does not seem to work with my BB keypad. I had to use the other phone in order to type the MSC part... Thank you for helping though!! :)

Hi .... 

 

I am facing the same problem, Since the Receipt Number format is  three alphabets "ABC" followed by 10 digits. When the system asks to enter the 13 digit receipt no. how will I enter alphabets "ABC" through android dialing pad once the call is ON. I am not able to connect any representative and the call goes all around asking for  13 Digit receipt no. 

 

Anyone facing the same problem and got the way out.  please help me

google alphanumeric keypad if you can't see letters on your keypad. If you can just hit the ones where the letters are on... It will understand which are meant.

 

You can always go to the keypad while on a call..
