I've seen what living day to day in an environment of fear can do to a person. I see how my husband is. I see how he is like a little child in the presence of authority. I see his "fight or flight" reactions to certain situations. He used to look in the air everytime he heard a helicopter overhead. He didn't even want to go to the Knights of Columbus for a fish-fry with me - for me it was just a social event. For him he's still got that weirdness in his head that he was in an unsafe environment.

If thats what you use for "experience" then I have just as much experience. I have 2 siblings that have experienced living in the middle-east with the threat of attacks on a constant basis, and many many many actual attacks. I'm close with my siblings and like you, i've seen what it does. They live among civilians and military alike. Afghanistan is a volatile place right now. My sister is over there again as we speak. So, yes RJ, I know plenty.

And one can easily study happenings worldwide. You're right though, that no one can talk about the what one actually feels during an attack unless one has experienced it. But we're not talking about the terror one feels, or pain of losing a family member to it. We're talking about the mechanics, and items like that.

And no one here is saying that Hasan was a member of an organization. ANd I don't believe in anyway that it maligns other muslims who don't adhere to terror. You have fundamentally misunderstood the point of not labelling this man a terrrorist and why the phrase allahu Akbar can't be used as an indicator of evil intent.
